How old do you need to be to operate the equipment?

Age 18 or older.

Are family and friends allowed at the site during the adventure?

Yes. Spectators are allowed to observe and take photos during the adventure.

How many participants can Earthwork Adventures have at one time?

We schedule up to 4 individual participants per session (with 1 instructor per 2 participants). If we are working with a special event or corporate group we will schedule additional equipment and participants.

What are the session times?

Half day sessions are 8:00AM to 11:30AM.
Full day sessions are 8:00AM to 3:30PM.

Is lunch included?

Refreshments are provide for both our half and full day sessions.

Our full day sessions include a complimentary lunch. Lunch details are coordinated during the registration process.

Are you open all year round?

Yes. If we encounter severe weather, a session will be rescheduled.

How many participants per instructor?

Two.

Do you need a drivers license?

No

What kind of equipment is available?

Earthwork Adventures has multiple large CAT and Komatsu Excavators, CAT Loaders, CAT Bulldozers, CAT Skid steers, Kubota Mini-Excavators, CAT Compactors and other equipment is available based on the size of the group.

What clothing should I wear?

Casual clothing with hiking or work boots is recommended. In the winter a coat and other winter clothing is recommended. Our equipment is climate controlled for your comfort. Earthwork Adventures supplies all hard hats, safety vests and other safety gear required.

How safe is operating the equipment?

All participants are given a safety and equipment orientation prior to any activities. Each participant operates in a separate work area away from other participants. An instructor is availablle at all times and you will have a walkie talkie device available to communicate with the instructor. Your comfort and safety is our number one priority at all times.
